The founder was at his cabin in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and observed a dog that was lying next to a warm fireplace. He then commented to his friends that he wished everyone could enjoy life as much as that "lazy dog' by the fire." Thus the name of the restaurant was born.
Inside the restaurant you will find a perfect, cozy environment. In fact it might feel like you are inside an actual cabin lodge. Inside is real wood beams, real ledge stone on the fireplaces and high quality, warm-colored furniture.
