The Dallas Black Dance Theatre is the city's oldest continuously operating dance company. Ms. Ann Williams founded the theatre in 1976 and has remained the only directory the company as ever had.

The Dallas Black Dance Theatre features contemporary modern dance comprised of 12 professional dancers who perform a mixed performance of modern, jazz, ethnic and spiritual works by nationally and internationally known choreographers.
