Next to Sprinkles Cupcakes which was written about in an early post, Voodoo Doughnut is also a MUST try on your date location list. Voodoo Doughnuts is sadly not located in the DFW area but if you plan on traveling down to Austin in the near future, you MUST try Voodoo Doughnut. Though it's not in the area, I feel that I have to write about it because I have heard so many wonderful things about their donuts and I want you to try it!!!

"Okay - I love donuts. I mean, I really love donuts. Even with that intro, Voodoo donuts was great. The variety is ridiculous and each donut was light, fluffy and incredibly sweet. I particularly liked "Dirt" - raised yeast, vanilla frosting, and Oreos. You could get very fat here, but it would be worth it."
"They have so many doughnuts it was hard to choose. I went with the Grape Ape. One of the best doughnuts I've ever had! If you like doughnuts this is a must stop when in Austin!"
"We went here today (May 2017). We had peach fritter, hibiscus doughnut, and maple crueler. The peach fritter was amazing, A+. Out of this world. The other two were unique and tasty but not necessarily worth making a destination out of doughnut hunting."
Relationship tip: on this date ask a question
like “If you were on a desert island, but your needs for food and shelter were
totally taken care of, what one luxury item would you wish for?” This could be
a great conversation starter and you could learn something new about your
spouse.
