The Nasher sculpture center is a fun place for a Saturday
morning date. It is located in downtown Dallas and is open from Tuesday to
Sunday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. It has galleries inside the center as well as
outside. They have a variety of artists like Picasso that contributed to their
galleries, including many modern and contemporary artists. They also have
special events including concerts, films and more. Check out their website for
specific details and event times.
Research some of the artists beforehand. Maybe you take
Picasso and your partner picks another artist on display at the museum. During
the ride to the museum teach each other about the artist you researched. This
will help give you something to talk about as well as learn something new.
The Nasher Café by Wolfgang Puck is a restaurant available at
the museum. It has wonderful soups, salads, pasta dishes and sandwiches. A menu
with pricing is available one their website or via this link. Stroll
through their gardens holding your partners hand, check out one of their films
and eat a refreshing lunch from their café. Pick up a souvenir in the gift shop
to remember how much fun you had together. This museum is a great location for
your next date.
Relationship Tip: Remember how you used to spend hours
getting ready when you were dating? Dress up for your date night. Dressing up
tells your partner that you enjoy your time together, that you want to have
fun, and brings a little romance into your date.
